These Deck Chairs and Table are made from local cedar. They are handmade using mortice and tenon construction. The base is interlocked forming a very strong foundation. Each piece is hand stained to allow the wood grain to show through. The chair is curved to form to your back. The front is rounded so not to cut into your legs.
These chairs are much easier to get into and out of. The seat is much higher and the back is more upright. The seat curves to the form to your back. Also the front is rolled over for your legs. Each base is assembled using mortise and tenon making it very strong. The glue we use expands in the joint and forces it way into the grain of the wood. Thank you, Roger.
